Woodcut'n printing

Long image, in blog format, for your blog reading pleasure!
A photo of my first two woodcut prints which i did in the grafic printing introduction class :3 I am amazed there was such a class availible for us at the less practical end of academia, and very pleased. Next stop is etching! Never tried that one before. Dipping things in acid is strangely aluring.

I'll try to choose a less foresty(<3) theme for the next stuff.

Cheers!

Ye old banner

I don't really make them as banners, but that is what they are.

The old one was just a stand-in, quickly picked out from a random sketch. I figured everyone are probably heartbroken and miss the old banner very much. So here is the original unfinished study I used for it.

It's my plant, Kate, she stands next to the monitor, was fitting to paint a study of it :] Ficus Ginseng if I am correct, some sort of a bonzai tree.

A bit late to finish it now, lacks leaves in winter and has gotten somewhat taller. I'm a slow worker sometimes :]
